When you are visiting a tourist destination with much to see and you have limited time, it is often advantageous to get a City Pass. They offer admission to several attractions for one reasonable price. They often include walking tours, or hop on hop off options which allow you to enjoy the city at your own tempo.
Florence Italy has the Florence Turbo Pass.
- 1 Day pass 59 Euros
- 2 Day pass 69.9 Euros
- 3 Day pass 79.9 Euros
Key selling points are the Fast Track Entry to both the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery. It also includes admission to many other attractions.
- Leonardo Da Vinci Museum
- Jewish Museum & Synagogue
- Museo Casa Buonarroti
- Museo Degli Innocenti
- Museum of Musical Instruments
- National Archaelogical Museum
- Museo Franco Zeffierelli
- Palazzo Strozzi
- Santo Spirito Complex – Basilica & Sacristy (designed by Filippo Brunelleschi)
- A walking tour of Florence
- A Shuttle bus to Barberino Designer Outlets
That is a lot of options! I think in order to not be overwhelmed by trying to do too much and still be able to take in the important attractions, I would want the 2 day pass for 69.9 Euros.
Sadly it does not include Florence’s Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore. It would be an extra 23 Euros for the Basic Tour there. I viewed both the Duomo and Baptistery from the outside on previous trips, but long to get a more in depth look at all the wonders they contain.
