I just discovered the Southwest Michigan Makers Trail. It’s the first time that I have found a group that combines beer, wine and spirits all into one great Trail. There are 40 combined establishments participating including the wineries I posted about recently in The Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail. Here is a Full list of Participating Establishments.
FLIGHT CREW PASSPORT & PRIZES
Earn rewards for exploring the Makers Trail by following these 4 easy steps.
- Pick up a Flight Crew Passport
- Get your passport stamped at any of the 40 participating locations by April 30, 2019
- Collect 10 stamps for each prize level
- Redeem for prizes before May 9, 2019
There are 3 prize levels. It takes 10 stamps to accomplish each level. You can save your passport until the end or redeem for prizes as you reach each level. Prizes include beanie hats, Michigan mittens or a pair of tickets to the Makers Trail Festival. Your passport must be received by May 9, 2019 either via mail or in person at the Southwest Michigan Tourist Council.
MAKERS TRAIL ALL-WEATHER PICNIC BLANKET
If you’ve completed any of the Passport reward levels , you can earn this fleece picnic blanket with water-repellant shell by staying at least one night at any of the Participating Southwest Michigan Hotels between November 1 and April 30, 2019.

If you complete all the levels and redeem your prizes before the May 9, 2019 deadline, you will be automatically entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize.
