TSA Pre Check vs Global Entry

If you are a frequent air traveler, you probably already have either TSA Pre-Check or Global Entry.  If not, let’s bring you up to speed on what they are all about.

In a nutshell TSA Precheck is designed to simplify and expedite the security screening process for people in U.S. Airports, while Global Entry is designed for international travelers entering through U.S. Customs.

These programs offer travel benefits to pre-screened members. Global Entry uses your membership number as a “known traveler number” in airline reservations to receive TSA Pre®.   So with Global Entry you get the best of both programs.
